Upcoming Band Events
The last regular season FRMS Football game and Pep Band event will be on Tuesday 6 October. Come support the footballs team ans band!
We still need 5-6 parents to sign up to help run the stand this week. We have experienced stand leaders, so no prior experience is required to help. Visit the Volunteer page to sign up to help!

BEST WISHES to our 8th Grade Band Members as they head to Sandy Creek HS!! We wish them lots of luck in high school and look forward to seeing them on the marching field.

Large Group Performance Evaluation- STRAIGHT SUPERIORS for all three Flat Rock Bands! Congratulations to the Symphonic Band, Concert Band, and 6th Grade Advanced Band for receiving Straight Superiors on stage and in sightreading from the judges at District VI LGPE! Way to Go!
2009 MS All-State Band Announced
Brian Lebrec of the FRMS Band was named to the 2009 Georgia Music Educators (GMEA) Middle School All-State Band. Brian was one of only 28 middle school trumpet players selected from throughout Georgia for this honor. Congratulations Brian!
Congratulations to Gemma Papsodero was selected an All-State Trumpet Alternate.
